Avantix Mobile Prototype

Rail ticketing app preview

Avantix is used by rail staff to query ticket timetable and fare information, as well as for selling tickets and merchandise.

The application is used predominantly by guards on trains. It is a native Android app and queries a database or around 90m different ticket types.

I was commissioned to design the application.

This prototype was created to illustrate the process for selling tickets to passengers. I create the prototype itself using Axure RP.

I was also responsible for the creative graphics design for the project – I created everything you see in this prototype.

A walkthrough is also provided to help when using the prototype. It opens in a separate browser tab to the prototype, making it easier to switch between the two.
